Personal Info

Dr. Jered Wayland is the founder and clinical director of Victory Spinal Care, where he leads with a commitment to upper cervical chiropractic and long-term health. His passion for chiropractic was shaped early in his career as he witnessed how precise care of the upper cervical spine and chiropractic could create lasting change in patients who had previously struggled with chronic conditions.

He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from SUNY Buffalo. His academic training emphasized anatomy, neurology, physiology, and biomechanics, equipping him with a deep understanding of how structural alignment influences nervous system function.

Dr. Wayland’s professional background includes serving as Clinic Director at the Chiropractic Institute of Chicago and practicing as an associate doctor at Kessinger Clinic of Chiropractic prior to founding Victory Spinal Care in 2012. For more than a decade, he has also been actively involved in training chiropractors across the country through KCUCS, teaching advanced upper cervical analysis and adjusting procedures. His experience further includes expert-level work in injury
biomechanics, impairment ratings, prognosis, and care planning.

A meaningful part of Dr. Wayland’s journey has been participating in and leading international mission trips where chiropractic and Christ are intentionally shared together. These experiences continue to shape the culture of Victory Spinal Care by reinforcing the clinic’s purpose of serving people both physically and spiritually.

Dr. Wayland is deeply committed to educating his patients and empowering them to understand how their nervous system affects overall health. His approach centers on identifying underlying causes of dysfunction rather than simply addressing symptoms, helping patients move toward sustainable improvement and long-term stability.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Wayland is a devoted husband and father of two boys. He enjoys competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and coaching wrestling, both of which
reflect his belief in discipline, stewardship, and focus on health.
